So one of my roommates was looking for a car. He wanted something that was easy to maintain and good on gas (a.k.a. slow and boring). We were scanning through Craigslist and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ...

Do you want to be the late 1980's? This is the quintessential piece of late 80's early 90's Chrysler technology. Not to be confused with a K-car, the Chrylser LaBaron is the pinnacle in boxy small car innovation. And better yet, it's a convertible, so tall people can sit in the car.
Tired of boring gray interiors coated with leatherette? Well this beaming beauty has a bold RED interior with seats made from an entire Home Depot's supply of red carpeting (no cutting corners here). Heat, A/C, cruise control, memories of the Gulf War, it has everything an early 90's car buff could want.
29,247 miles, $3950. Are you on board, nice price or crack pipe?
(I can't add a poll...)

Any price is a crack pipe for that car. Also, low miles are bad in a car like this. It meant that it has been sitting, so hoses and lines are probably about to give out.

Ehh, tough one. It looks to be in really good shape from the pictures, but it is still 24 years old. As long as the rust is minimal, it should be a decent car, though as noted, rubber parts may be dried out. My dad used to have one and I don't remember any major problems with it. Everything still worked when it met it's end at 180K due to a hydroplane. Worth a look, not sure I'd go 4K, but maybe.

Stay away from the Lebaron, these things are complete pieces of shit. I've had intimate experiences with both the K-car and this version. Junk Junk Junk.

Never. He would be forever getting new hoses and lines when they finally rot out
